Ambassadors for Christ, Arise!
The idea is to see
MANY PEOPLE DOING MANY DIFFERENT THINGS!
This means:
Ambassadors of Christ, Arise!
YOU DO SOMETHING!
The church in Acts was not one that focussed on organised programs, but a people who loved others simply because they were loved by Jesus. That love spurred them to initiate acts of love and concern for those who were fellow believers, as well as acts of compassion and other little actions and behaviour. These very obviously won the praise and welcome of the larger community of people who did not know Jesus yet.
We should move away from an over-reliance on organised and formal outreach programs and projects to do evangelism. Each of us is part of the body of Christ, and an ambassador of Christ.
The change in the Acts church was not organised but organic – borne, transformed and inspired by the Holy Spirit.
